So may I suggest that even if you don't have any coupons you should buy the Colgate toothpaste. Why? Because it's $3.50 and you can do what they call rolling your +UPs. Buy 1 @ $3.50. Then do this scenario 3 more times and use the +UPs to pay for it. So you'll only be paying tax for each subsequent transaction. And at the end you will have $3.50 +UP and 4 tubes of toothpaste :)

Shaws
I'll be honest here I don't see a whole lot going on at Shaws this week. They're running a Box Tops Promotion where you buy 10 select General Mills products and you will instantly save $5 and you will also be given 25 bonus box tops. I know, right. Not exciting. To me, anyways. I might pick up some Cheerios cause the kids love them. I'll do a couple scenarios that I think are a decent deal for those who use the products.

  • Hamburger helper $1.49 Buy 10 @ $1.49=$14.90 use (2) $.75/3 IP and (1) $.80/4 IP. $14.90-$4.60=$10.30 then minus the instant savings of $5 equals $5.30/10 boxes or $.53 each.
  • Cheerios (multigrain or original) $1.99 Buy 10 @ $1.99=$19.90 use (2) $.80/1 IP (Peanut butter if included), (2) $.75/1 IP (multi), (3) $1/2 IP. $19.90-$9.20=$10.70 then minus the instant savings of $5 equals $5.70/10 boxes or $.57 each. There is a good chance the peanut butter multigrain (this also applies to the Dulce Leche) will not be included. In case it isn't you can always use another $1/2 IP. There are also other coupons available from your GM inserts.
